How to Edit Divi’s Default Footer – Article

Note that these instructions are only for the default footer. Some sites use Divi’s Theme Builder for their header and/or footer, which gives you even more control over how your header and footer look. Divi’s footer area is built using the Customizer and widgets/blocks.

To adjust the number of columns in your footer and change the background color:

  1. From your dashboard, hover over Appearance and click on Customize.
  2. Select Footer then Layout.
  3. Adjust your column preference and/or background color.
  4. Adjust any other footer settings.
  5. Publish

Note that changes to a widget area can only be undone manually. There is no revision history. Please make note of your changes so that you can change them back if you need to.
