Setting Up a YouTube Feed Using Smash Balloon

Please contact us at support@worshiptimes.org about installing, activating, and adding the license key to your site for the Smash Balloon plug-in. If you are on an older site, you will likely need to upgrade your site to a newer network in order to access this functionality.

  • Note that you do NOT need to be a channel owner or even have a YouTube channel to create a YouTube API Key. However, we recommend keeping the API key under a church administrative account for future access and control and not under someone’s personal Google account.
  • An article from Google on how to set up your YouTube Channel:

  • Google Developer Console Link for setting up your API Key:

  • If you’re experiencing quote problems, go to YouTube Feed –> Settings –> Feeds, and changing the Caching to happen fewer times in a day (something like 1/day)

As always, if you have any questions, please submit a support ticket from your website or email us at support@worshiptimes.org.
