Gravity Forms & PayPal Troubleshooting – Article
If you’re testing a form with a PayPal feed and are not being taken to PayPal, first check your general PayPal settings under Forms –> Settings –> PayPal. Then check your form’s specific PayPal feed, particularly the PayPal email used (make sure it’s the primary email used on your PayPal account). Also check any conditional logic that you’ve set up on the feed.
If you’re still having issues, it’s likely because you’re using test content on the form, and that test content has been flagged as spam by Akismet, a WordPress spam filter. You’ll know if this has happened if you’ve set up a different confirmation for your form but instead, you are not being taken to PayPal and you are seeing Gravity Form’s default confirmation message and not the one you set up for the form.
When testing a form to make sure it works, it is recommended that you put your PayPal feed in Test mode (under the feed’s settings) and use actual, real content when filling out the form. Once the form is ready to receive payments, put the feed back into Production mode.
