Creating User Notifications for Forms
Note that at a minimum, your form has to have one Email field in the form, so make sure in your form’s editor that one exists.
- From your dashboard, go to Forms
- Hover over the form that you’d like to edit, then hover over Settings and go to Notifications
- Hover over the Admin Notification, then click on Duplicate
- Hover over the duplicate, then click on Edit
- Name = change the name to something like User Notification
- Send To = select the “Select a field” option
- Send To Field = select an Email field from the form
- Subject = edit as needed
- Message = edit as needed
- Tip: You can customize the subject line or the message with data submitted in the form (like, “Hi, <first name>,” – see https://learning.worshiptimes.org/wt-guide/add-submitted-field-data-to-your-form-notifications-article/ for more details)
- Update Notification
- Tip: If there are multiple Email fields on your form and you’d like a notification to go to each one, duplicate the User Notification that you create and repeat step #4 for the other email.
