Choice Fields – Dropdowns, Checkboxes & Radio Buttons
Our forms systems allows you to add three types of choice fields – dropdowns, checkboxes, and radio buttons.
- Add a choice field to your form
- Click on the field to access its settings
- Click on Edit Choices to edit and add options
Dropdowns
Dropdowns provide a field which the user must click on and then select a single option from a list.
TIP: By default, the first option appears in the dropdown. You can add a blank first option if you would prefer that nothing is pre-selected.
Checkboxes
Checkboxes display all of the options for a field and are particularly useful if your users need to be able to select multiple options. There is also a setting to add a “Select All” choice.
Radio Buttons
Radio buttons are similar to checkboxes in that all of the options are displayed, but only one option can be selected.
TIP: The radio button field has a built-in “other” option that creates a radio button next to a text field so that the user can type in their own option.
As always, if you have any questions, please submit a support ticket from your website or email us at support@worshiptimes.org.
